Automated Processes In a Company, Concepts such as  automation ,  intelligent  decision-making or  remote management  have become part of the collective vocabulary in recent times and the blame, to a large extent, can be attributed to the corruption of  Digital Transformation  in the business landscape.

Automated vs manual processes

In order to be able to talk about the multiple benefits that automated processes offer us, it would be interesting to comment first on the “cons” that those that are manual entail.

For example: Some manual tasks tend to be  repetitive and routine , becoming tedious and causing the person in charge of carrying it out to run the risk of making mistakes and  errors . 

At the same time, the  volume of paper  dedicated to these processes is usually  high , since as they are manual tasks, many sheets have to be used to print reports, lists, invoices, inventories, etc. All that paper, in turn,  takes up a lot of space  and, when handled, is likely to  get lost  on the wrong desk or even  disappear.

Finally, the fact that the correct completion of a manual task depends on a  natural person  can  cause delays in the delivery of merchandise or posting an invoice. In both examples, the company would be harmed by not providing adequate customer service or not being able to enter a payment on time, respectively.

Likewise, and inversely to what was stated in the previous point,  the possibility of error is drastically reduced, the possibility of losing a document is almost non-existent and the pace of work between departments increases , since any authorized user has immediate access to the information . .

Regardless of whether it is a large corporation or an SME, there are common processes in all of them, such as:

Automating  invoice approval processes  is essential for more agile accounting management. Those responsible for validating them can sign digitally immediately, thus unblocking possible delays in payments and collections.

Human Resources

Regarding the  incorporation of new workers , the fact of having automated processes in the Human Resources area speeds up the registration of contracts, reception and registration of attachments received by email or other information related to the file of the new member of the company. .

Like the invoices, the delivery note can be automated and attached to the invoice and order, so that several documents are recorded in one place.
